This series was born with the intention to lead the viewer outdoors and bring the open air into their space. Not only do I want to bring the scenic beauty of the mountains into your daily life but I want to bring it with a burst of emotion. That overwhelming emotion of joy, awe, and astounding sublimity when fully immersed in the wilderness. I used hints of dreamy color to push the feeling of magic and beauty that is experienced.

This painting is of the East Fork Reservoir that sits right above Georgetown Lake. The reflections on the water were a perfect mirror as dusk was hitting. The depth and movement with the reflection make this painting so special.
