This series was born with the intention to lead the viewer outdoors and bring the open air into their space. Not only do I want to bring the scenic beauty of the mountains into your daily life but I want to bring it with a burst of emotion. That overwhelming emotion of joy, awe, and astounding sublimity when fully immersed in the wilderness. I used hints of dreamy color to push the feeling of magic and beauty that is experienced.

This spot on the SW end of Holland Lake has views for days! Capturing it in fall felt so right. I love the texture and color balance in this painting so much! This is the piece that sparked the title of the full series!
